Dish of the Day: Green salad

Everyone is getting health conscious these days. And what can be healthier than the green salad. It is very easy to make and takes only few minutes to prepare.

 Ingredients:

Lettuce green few or any other lettuce

Iceberg Lettuce finely chopped

Tomatoes 2

Cucumber 1

Olives black 4 or 5

Spring onion 1

Extra virgin olive oil 1table spoon

Salt to taste

Freshly grounded black pepper

White vinegar 2 tea spoon

 Preparation:

  1. Break the lettuce into pieces roughly with hands
  2. Cut tomatoes into pieces
  3. Cucumber also cut in pieces
  4. Cut Spring onion into pieces, use both white and little green portion
  5. Iceberg roughly chopped
  6. Mix all the ingredients in a big salad bowl and add olive oil, vinegar, black pepper and salt
  7. Mix it once again and enjoy tasty and healthy green salad
