IAF Mirage 2000 strikes JeM terrorists camp in in Pakistan’s Balakot, Muzaffarabad and Chakothi today killing 200-300 terrorists as per reports.

Indian Air Force has been put on high alert all air defence systems along the international border and LoC to respond to any possible action by Pakistan Air Force.

According to sources that strike lasted that 21mins in Pakistan and PoK.

In Balakot, 24 KM NW of Muzaffarabad, Mirage carried out strike btweeen 3:45-3:53 am. Joint training camps of JeM, LeT & HM were hit. Pakistan had reportedly emptied Launchpads but not training camps after Pulwama Attack. In Muzafarrabad Mirage conducted strike between 3:48 AM – 3:55 AM and in Chakoti between 3:58 AM- 4:04 AM.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has also called a high level meeting on the incident.

“Indian Air Force violated Line of Control Pakistan. Pakistan Air Force immediately scrambled. Indian aircraft gone back,” Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan army, said in a tweet.

Pakistan, however, seems to be sticking to its denial policy. Pakistan’s Major General has freshly tweeted that Indian aircraft “intruded” three to four miles across the Line of Control into the territory that Pakistan calls “Azad Jammu and Kashmir”, in Muzaffarabad sector. This territory is part of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

The Pakistan has also released some images saying that IAF has not caused any images.

Reactions have started pouring in from within the country about the attack. Opposition leaders in India have welcomed the IAF attack.

Gajendra Singh Sekhawat, Union Minister, tweeted “Air Force carried out aerial strike early morning today at terror camps across the LoC and Completely destroyed it.”

The official confirmation by the IAF on this is awaited.
