URI is based on Surgical Strike conducted by the Indian Army following the terrorists attack on an Army camp in URI in which 19 soldiers were killed. The Indian Government decided to take action against Pakistan for this act of terrorism and permitted the Army to carry out the Surgical Strike inside Pakistan’s territory.
