Salman kicks off bicycle race event in Arunachal along with Kiren Rijiju and CM Pema Khandu

Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who is also the brand ambassador Arunachal Pradesh tourism, cycled around the serene terrains of Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday. Salman was accompanied by Union Minister Kiren Rijiju and Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Pema Khandu during the 10 km ride.

The actor inaugurated sixth edition of Mechuka Adventure Festival and second edition of MTB Arunachal Mountain Bicycle Race. The actor was in the state for one day to promote adventure tourism.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu shared the amazing video of the bike ride with Salman and Rijiju.

 

 

“Bollywood superstar Salman Khan today declared open the 6th edition of Adventure@Mechuka festival amidst great fanfare. He also flagged in the second edition of Dalmia MTB Arunachal Mountain Bicycle race,” Chief Minister Khandu tweeted.


Union Minister Kiren Rijiju also thanked the actor for promoting the as a destination for adventure tourism. “People of Arunachal Pradesh will be forever indebted to @BeingSalmanKhan for promoting the State as a destination for adventure tourism. People showered him all the love & affection at Menchuka today,” Rijiju tweeted.


Rijiju also congratulated the winners of the Dalmia MTB ARUNACHAL HORNBILL’S FLIGHT 2018 Cycling Race. “Hearty congratulations to the winners of Dalmia MTB ARUNACHAL HORNBILL’S FLIGHT 2018 Cycling Race. Hats off to the para-cyclists, women cyclists and the local participants who competed with some of the top cyclists of the world,” tweeted Rijiju.


Cyclists from around the world participated in the Cycling Race.
