Saurabh Chaudhary wins gold in Asian AirGun Championship

Shooting sensation Saurabh Chaudhary has done it again! He has bagged Gold in 10m Air Pistol (Junior) event of Asian AirGun Championship being held in Kuwait city on Thursday. Another Indian shooter Arjun Singh Cheema won Silver in the same event.

Chuadhary shot 239.8 in the individual final to leave Arjun in second place and bag a second Gold in the event.

His first Gold came in the team event. The pistol sensation along with compatriots Arjun Singh Cheema and Anmol Jain logged total of 1731 to also win the Team Gold. Unfortunately they missed the World and Asian Junior record by a point.

So far, India has won 10 medals in the championship with three Gold, five Silvers and two Bronze medals. Hailing from Meerut, he started shooting in 2015 and won his first Asian Games Gold at the age of 16.

Saurabh Chaudhary has also won Gold medals in Asian Games, ISSF World Shooting Championship and Youth Olympic Games .
