Security forces kill three Lashkar terrorists in a joint operation in Kashmir’s Baramulla

Srinagar:

Security forces killed three Lashkar terrorists in a joint operation in Binner village of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district today afternoon.

A joint team of J&K Police and CRPF launched Cordon And Search Operation (CASO) in the village after receiving specific information of the presence of terrorists in the area. The terrorists started firing on the forces when soldiers got near their location which triggered the gunfight.

According to sources, the three terrorists are believed to be Lashkar cadres out of which two are believed to be foreign terrorists. The third terrorist is believed to be local senior militant commander.

The three terrorists have been identified as Suhaib Farooq Akhoon, Mohsin Mushtaq Bhat & Nasir Ahmad Darzi. All three were affiliated to Lashkar-e-Taib & were wanted in terror crimes including attack on security establishments & civilian atrocities.

Security sources said that sanitization operation is still going on in the area to recover explosives and ammunition.
