Soldier martyred in unprovoked ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Kashmir

Srinagar:

An Indian Army soldier was martyred in yet another ceasefire violation by Pakistan in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district today morning.

According to sources, Pakistani Rangers started firing towards forward post in Machhil Sector of Kupwara in North Kashmir today morning. The Indian forces retaliated in a befitting manner. A soldier of the Indian Amry was martyred in the firing.

Meanwhile, another ceasefire violation by Pakistani forces was reported along LoC in Kamalkote Sector of Uri in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

According to security sources intermittent firing was going on in both the sectors.

LoC trade has been suspended from Uri route following injuries to two army men in unprovoked firing by Pakistan yesterday.
